New Ranger Beastmaster At-wills
adam — Thu, 15/04/2010 - 09:25
When creating the dwarf beast master for Josh, I was massively disappointed by the number of beast realted at-wills available (theres 2), and the fact that one of those is a weapon attack, the other will almost never do as much damage as a weapon attack... So lets address the balance, with some new beast powers

Monday 19th - Campaign or Encounters?
admin — Tue, 13/04/2010 - 07:21
Having completed chapter 1 of D&D Encounter last night, our characters are taking an extended rest...
Next mondays event was scheduled as a campaign night, but I know that many of the players at the campaign night are currently on easter holidays from uni, so, unless we hear that they are back, we'll be running D&D Encounters next monday.
Halfling Sub-Types?
adam — Mon, 12/04/2010 - 11:55
I'm contemplating creating a 'hobbit' race as part of the content challenge, but I can't decide if this would be better as a halfling sub-race in the way wizxards have handled elfish and dwarven sub-races?

Accurate Wands...
adam — Sun, 11/04/2010 - 10:08
I stumbled across this 'bug' in the character builder by accident.
Create a wizards with the wand of accuracy feature, select the superior implement (accurate wand) as a feat, and equip an accurate wand and a magical accurate wand +1... you gain the +1 benefit off them twice...
Focused Expertise is gone...
adam — Sun, 11/04/2010 - 09:32
With the introduction of Versatile Expertise in PHB3, the Focused expertise feat from Dragon, which let you select a weapon and gain a +1 bonus to attack when it used as a melee weapon or as an implement, is gone from the character builder. For characters like Markus, who uses a harmonic songblade longsword that acts as a weapon and an implement, this feat was ace.
